Lockwood Farm Lavender Fudge Sauce is Here!

Lavender is an herb, a member of the mint family, and is extremely versatile in cooking, spicing, and also adds nice color and garnish to your favorite dish. It goes very well with pastries, fruit, citrus, tea and meat. We use angustifolia (english lavender) because it adds a very nice flavor and spice without the perfumey taste/aroma that can be found in other lavender varieties.

I have been wanting to add lavender culinary products to our product line. And what better way to start than to add lavender to chocolate. Who doesn't love chocloate.  With the help of the wonderful company that produces Sundae's Best Fudge Sauce we are now offering Lavender Fudge Sauce.  A sinfully delicious sauce that is great on any dessert, in coffee or as a fruit dip.  This unique blend of rich fudge and delicate lavender enhances every chocoholic's dream.

In designing the label (which I obsessed over for days) I wanted it to have a personal feel.  What better way then to put a picture of a family member on the label.  This is Williams and Nettie Lockwood my husbands great-grandfather and great-grandmother.  One of the five generations that worked the farm.

We will be launching our new product during the Skaneateles Winterfest on Saturday, January 29th at Creekside Coffeehouse.  Stop by for a tasting we think you'll love it!
