Honor Flight Syracuse Mission #5

85 Veteran's came home yesterday, 65 were World War II Vet's and 20 were from the Korean War. In 2013 Lockwood Lavender Farm donated proceeds from the sale of lavender plants to Honor Flight - Syracuse. A not-for-profit organization created to honor American veteran for their sacrifice by flying our heroes to Washington, DC to visit and reflect together at their memorials. Last night we welcomed them back from Honor Flight Mission #5. This organization is near and dear to our hearts because Karen's Dad was a World War II vet. In 2004 we had the pleasure of escorting him to the dedication of the World War II Memorial Monument. We could see how much going to the dedication meant to Dad and reflect on his own experiences during the War.

God Bless our Veterans!
